This one was cleaned and re-blocked by Art Fawcett before I got it. It’s a fantastic Borsalino, but it was always just a bit too small to wear it comfortably, so I let it go. Somewhere along the line, the brim binding had been removed.
Take special note of the cool belted / action back jacket on the model at the bottom.
Sold in the early 1960s by the Hopkings Gruber Co of Hagerstown, MD. This hat cost $15 new.
This stingy milan straw by Dunlap dates from the 1960s. It’s an unusual shade of green. Nice quality throughout.
