Leather and Wool two tone jacket

This vintage jacket was made in the early 1940s.  Likely sold by Sears, this wool and capeskin leather panel style was briefly popular from about 1940-1943.  It has a bell shaped Conmar zipper, a buttoned throat latch, handwarmer pockets, pleated half belt back and leather trimmed breast pocket.

1930s leather and wool jacket

This vintage jacket was made in the late 1930s-early 1940s.  It is a casual panel front design, with a suede leather front and colar detailing, and wool collar, sleeves and back.  It has a knit waistband in the back, and a triple marked, decon sunburst stopbox Talon zipper, handwarmer pockets and sharply angled talon zipper closure breast pockets up front.  It is fully lined.

This vintage jersey was made in the 1950s in Great Falls Montana by the Allsports Supply Co for the Palmer Construction Company. It is two tone red and white with raglan sleeves and a chainstitched felt patch on the chest.

1940s Shanhouse Bold Look two-tone mackinaw jacket

This vintage coat was made in 1947-1948 by Shanhouse Bros of Rockford, Illinois. This coat was featured in their “Bold Look” advertising campaign, and has a brick red blanket wool body with contrasting trim, sleeves and caped shoulders in red and white plaid. As is typical of mackinaws of this era, it is unlined, save for the shoulders. The jacket has a Talon zipper, with a U shaped Talon marked stopbox that was produced in the late 1940s.

1950s Suprina two tone fraternity collegiate sweater

This vintage sweater was made by Valley Stream under the Suprina’s Sportland label (service by sportsmen). It is two tone green and cream, with white buttons and a felt Theta Gamma Chi patch, from the now defunct fraternity. The Right sleeve has been rolled under and stitched to shorten it for some reason.

This vintage jacket was made in the late 1940s. It is made from wool gabardine in a half-belt cossack style, with a zipper front, handwarmer pockets and side belt adjusters. It is fully lined. The zipper is a bell-shaped Conmar zipper of the type used during WWII.

This vintage two tone Ricky jacket was made by Buck Skein in the early-mid 1950s. Buck Skein advertised these styles heavily in spring-summer of 1954. This one is made of a lightweight, breathable fabric, probably a linen-rayon blend. It is unlined, and has a brass Talon zipper. With a 50″ chest measurement, this fits as a size 46.
