This vintage leather jacket was made in the 1950s by Golden Fleece from heavy suede leather. The jacket has a half-belt back and a Conmar zipper front, with a surcoat-style zipper attachment at the bottom. The jacket has a suit style breast pocket. The jacket has a quilted lining.

This vintage leather cafe race motorcycle jacket was made by Beau Breed in the late 1960s- 1970s. It is made of brown steerhide, with two breast pockets, bi-swing shoulders, a band collar with two male snaps and one female. It has a late starting zipper, similar to Beck jackets. The main zipper is a Crown / Coats Clark and sleeve zippers are Serval. The jacket has a quilted lining with a corduroy strip at its base.

This jacket was made in the early to mid 1940s and was sold by Sears under their Topline label, which they used for leather jackets primarily during the years of WWII. The jacket is made of capeskin leather, smooth side out for the collar and lapels and rough side out for the body and sleeves. The jacket is cut like a sportcoat. It is unvented and has a sporty flapped breast pocket. The jacket is fully lined, and has the Sears Topline Sportswear label inside. Inside the pocket is a 1939 union label and the original size tag.

This vintage leather jacket was made in the 1970s and was worn by a biker through most of its life. The label has worn away, unfortunately. The jacket has a deep front yoke, with a half-zip, two zipper diagonal breast pockets, and zips on the side seams to help get into the jacket. The back has a corresponding deep yoke. The sleeves have zip cuffs. Zips are a mix of chunky brass talons and YKK. There is evidence of this jacket’s past life in its pin marks on the collar the outline of motorcycle club patches down the sleeve.

This vintage cap was made in the 1930s or 1940s, for motorcycle or aviation use. It is made of leather, with a flannel lining. It has snap-down ear flaps, with early WK snaps and a spring loaded buckle.

This vintage leather jacket was made in the 1930s. It is an early style of utility jacket, with a button front and a shirt style collar. There are handwarmer pockets with snap tab closure, and d ring adjuster belts for the back and cuffs. The jacket is cotton lined, with two buttoned “pistol pockets”, like found on G-1 flight jackets.

This vintage leather jacket was made in the early to mid 1950s. The pattern is nearly identical to what was being produced by Albert Richard at this time, but it uses Conmar hardware as opposed to the Talons usually used by that company. The jacket has a sheepskin collar, handwarmer pockets and a zip chest pocket. The back is one piece.

This vintage black leather kidney belt was made in the 1930s and was personalized by a member of the early motorcycle club, the Nite Hawks. This, along with the original owner’s 1930s Schott jacket (which I do not have) came out of a Baltimore, Maryland estate, although it appears that the Nite Hawks Motorcycle Club was based out of Detroit. It has wonderful round, flat, riveted studwork, and a three buckle fastening. the bottom belt has two studs.

This vintage leather jacket was made in the late 1930s-early 1940s. It was made in California and was sold by Montgomery Ward under their Sportswear label. The “Aviator” style, a precursor to the modern motorcycle jacket, was popular in this late ’30s-1940s time period, and this is an excellent example. It has an asymmetrical / double breasted zipper design, with handwarmer pockets and double zipped breast pockets. The zippers are all Talons. The chest zippers are the originals, with ring style pulls and Talon branded sliders, a style which stopped production in the 1940s. The main zipper is a replacement, probably done in the late 1950s. Interestingly, the slider has had the pull replaced with a 1930s fan-tail pull, possibly off the original zip. The jacket has a half-belt back with teardrop shaped buckles. The jacket is fully lined, with a wonderful label with a California mission and palm tree. The jacket is made of pony horsehide.

This vintage coat was made in the 1920s. It is a shawl collared mackinaw style, with a sheepskin collar. The coat is belted with an early style buttoned belt. It has handwarmer pockets on the chest and flapped cargo pockets on the hips. The coat is leather-lined in the body and sleeves for windproofing. Prior to the adoption of leather as a common exterior material for coats in the 1920s, it was popular as a lining material for outdoorsy garments like this one.
