This vintage hunting jacket was made in Utica, New York by Duxback. It is marked Aero Rainproof Sportsman’s Clothing. It has a three pocket front, with saddlebag patch pockets. It has an action back, with a belt. There are under sleeve gussets. There are scalloped snap closure pocket flaps to access the interior game pocket. The rubberized lining of the game pocket has hardened an is cracking. Inside, there are two large breast pockets. All snaps are United Carr. It is tagged a size 44.

French Despatch Rider Coat

This vintage coat was made in 1948. It is french army issue, either for a motorcycle despatch rider, or for the cavalry. It has leg straps to keep it from flapping in the wind, and pass through slits instead of pockets. It has a small collar, raglan sleeves, an attached belt and metal buttons. There are buttons inside which look like they could attach to a liner.

This vintage canvas shirt jacket was made by Atlantis Ultimate Weathergear of Sag Harbour, New York. It is a heavy navy blue canvas with two chest pockets and a lace up front. There is some staining and fade to the material. It is raglan shouldered.

Hydro Duck Canvas Coat
I sold this to a friend of mine at school.
Blaze orange canvas, reversible to hunting plaid. Clix zips on the game pouch and sleeve pocket. Leather reinforcement on the pockets. Made by Weather Chief. Supposedly water proof/resistant. I put that to the test by wearing it in light rain and found it to be patently false. Canadian Wildlife Federation patch, and some nice fade to the canvas.
