This vintage swimsuit was made in the late 1940s. These day-glo trunks enjoyed brief popularity around 1947-1949.

Waist (unstretched): 14-1/2″ (doubled – 29″)
Waist (stretched): 18″ (doubled = 36″)
Side Seam: 12-1/2″
Inseam: 1-3/4″

1960s Penney’s Towncraft swimsuit

These vintage swim trunks were made in the 1960s. They are a long legged style, with a patterned waistband.

1940s / 1950s Men’s yellow shorts

These vintage athletic shorts are belted, and have a button fly. They are made out of some kind of slightly shiny material. Rayon? Acetate? Nylon? A blend thereof? They have a heavy cotton waistband and crotch reinforcement. They were made by the General Athletic Products Company and are a size 34.

Waist: 16-1/2″
Rise: 13″
Inseam: 2″
Side Seam: 12″
