This vintage jacket was made by Brill Bros under the Mil-J-7823E G-1 contract. It is made of brown goatskin leather, with a brown mouton collar and knit cuffs. The wind flap is stamped USN and the jacket does up with a Scovill zip.

This vintage leather cafe race motorcycle jacket was made by Beau Breed in the late 1960s- 1970s. It is made of brown steerhide, with two breast pockets, bi-swing shoulders, a band collar with two male snaps and one female. It has a late starting zipper, similar to Beck jackets. The main zipper is a Crown / Coats Clark and sleeve zippers are Serval. The jacket has a quilted lining with a corduroy strip at its base.

This vintage leather jacket was made in the 1970s and was worn by a biker through most of its life. The label has worn away, unfortunately. The jacket has a deep front yoke, with a half-zip, two zipper diagonal breast pockets, and zips on the side seams to help get into the jacket. The back has a corresponding deep yoke. The sleeves have zip cuffs. Zips are a mix of chunky brass talons and YKK. There is evidence of this jacket’s past life in its pin marks on the collar the outline of motorcycle club patches down the sleeve.

This vintage leather jacket is a USN G-1 flight jacket. It has a half-belt, bi-swing back, knit cuffs and waistband, button closure patch pockets with a pencil slot and a button throat latch on the underside of the collar. There is a patch for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association on the chest, attached by pinbacks rather than stitching.

This vintage leather jacket was made in Spain in the 1970s and was sold under the Trumpeter label. It has a broad coat style collar, front and back yokes, side button waist adjuster tabs, patch pockets and a zipped D-pocket. The yokes give the jacket a bit of western flair, while the style of D-pocket and the pointed patch pockets are a stylistic quote from Cossack and Aviator jackets of the mid 1930s.
The jacket is tagged a size 42, but with a 42″ chest, would best fit a size 40.

This vintage sweater was made in the 1970s by Lakeland. The design is heavily influenced by the shawl collar sweaters of the 1920s and 1930s. It has a broad shawl collar, a four button front and four leather pockets, the design and placement of which are reminiscent of shawl collared mackinaw coats of the same period. The sweater is fully lined and has an interior pocket, in keeping with the original intention of these as an article of outerwear rather than something to be layered, as was the case with v necked cardigans.

This vintage suit was made in the late 1960s-early 1970s by Hart Schaffner & Marx during a brief revival of 1930s belt-back styles. While many from this period have scalloped pocket flaps and other 1970s detailing, this one plays it very close to the originals. It is made of brown wool tweed with a rust colored overcheck. It has patch pockets, and a belted, pleated back. The jacket is half-lined.

This vintage leather vest was made in the small town of Madras, Oregon by the Modoc Manufacturing Company. It is made of what feels like buckskin, with a pile lining. The patch pockets are riveted, and the vest has a snap front. The logo is an Indian chief. I can’t find much on this company, other than they operated in the 1960s and 1970s.

This vintage Chimayo Indian blanket vest was made by Americraft of El Paso, Texas, probably in the 1970s. The design and cut of these vests changed very little since the 1930s or earlier. This one has a white field, with black, turquoise, red and yellow pattern. It is a one button version, with a loop closure. The button is missing.

This vintage vest was made from Chimayo Indian blanket material. It has a five button front with loop closure. The material is a vibrant blue with red, yellow, white and blue designs. The edges of the interior are lined. Unfortunately, there are no tags, but there were several makers of these vests based out of New Mexico and Texas.
