This shirt is modern, but is a reproduction of flashy old styles. And unlike similar ’70s shirts which channeled similar ’40s shirts, this one isn’t made of nasty stiff polyester.

Why should ’60s Nashville stars have all the fun? Found this original suit on eBay. Sadly, the pants are much too short. Definitely not an all-the-time thing, but it puts a smile on my face to drag it out from time to time.
7X Clear Beaver Stetson
You could pick up a good quality Stetson $7.50 when this hat was made. That $7.50 would buy you a better hat than a modern $150 stetson. This hat cost $50. That was a hell of a lot of hat. The quality of these is amazing.

This hat, sold by the Outlaw Trading Post has a raw edge and a corded brim. It is somewhere between a cowboy hat and an open road fedora.

This one is NRA (National Recovery Administration) marked, which dates it to the early-mid 1930s.

This is an early Stetson Boss of the plains, probably dating from the 1920s. These were the real working mans hat of the time.
