This jacket was made by Ralph lauren, with a design inspired by point blanket mackinaws. It has a shawl collar, flecked cotton material, with snaps which reference the early printed designs found on Filson fasteners and buttons based on early Duxbak designs. Really covering all the early outdoorsman influences

This mackinaw coat was made recently, with a design taken from work mackinaws of the 1930s, with a belted, pleated back, handwarmer pockets, a double breasted front and flapped cargo pockets. It is made from lighter weight, softer material than the originals and is lined.

This vintage jacket was made by Ralph Lauren under the Polo label, with a style based on 1920s sporting jackets. It has a shawl collar with a double button closure at the top, small patch pockets and a waistband made from the same material as the body of the coat. It is made from a blue plaid wool.

Ralph Lauren zip hood mackinaw

This coat was made by Ralph Lauren under the Polo label. This one was made in the USA and probably dates to the 1980s. The style is based on a short lived variant on the work mackinaw, popular very briefly in the late 1930s, with a zip front, handwarmer pockets and flapped cargo pockets, a belted back and a zipped split hood. In keeping with the origins, this one is made with unlined construction.

This coat was made in the USA by Ralph Lauren under their Polo label. It is double breasted, with a belted back, handwarmer pockets and flapped, buttoned cargo pockets. In keeping with the 1930s mackinaws upon which it is based, it is unlined with taped seams.

This vintage coat was made in the USA by Ralph Lauren. Based on a 1930s Red Head Brand canvas hunting jacket pattern, it is rendered in a gray on gray Indian blanket material. It has a corduroy collar, reinforced shoulders, a deep breast pocket, large cargo pockets and small pockets in the flap above.

It is based on work jackets of the 1930s-1940s, drawing influence the most heavily from those made by King-O-Wear, with their distinctive leather elbow, cuff and pocket reinforcement and trimmed side adjuster belts. It has a zipper front, with a zipped breast pocket, and a quilted lining.

RRL Indian blanket coat

This coat is an older RRL Ralph Lauren product. Based on a design from the 1900s-1920s, the coat has a shawl collar, handwarmer pockets, flapped cargo pockets, belt loops, and an unlined construction. It was made in the USA from Indian blanket patterned fabric in 100% cotton.

This shirt was made by Ralph Lauren under their RRL line. Drawing influence from work shirts of the 1930s, it has a red and white dot fabric, with a chinstrap, side entry to the breast pocket for a pocket watch, angled buttonhole for a watch chain, asymmetric pockets, pencil pocket, false half-placket and ralph’s take on a vintage union label.

This coat was made by Ralph Lauren under the Polo label. It is made of a cotton/ linen blend in a design which is a blend between WWI US peacoats and civilian models of the pre-war era. The coat is double breasted, with handwarmer pockets, flapped cargo pockets and a flapped ticket pocket. The back is belted. It has anchor buttons and a “Finest Marine Supplies” patch on the sleeve. The coat is lined in fleece.
