This vintage fedora was made in the 1940s by Royal Scot and was sold by Jim Spier in Butte, Montana. The hat has a striped grosgrain ribbon, a bound brim and a teardrop crease. The brown leather sweatband is unreeded, and the hat has a fancy pleated lining.

This vintage suit was made in the early 1960s by Curlee Clothes and was sold by McCracken Bros in Bozeman, Montana. It is single breasted, with a two button front and short side vents. The fabric is a subtle black and emerald green. Pants are flat fronted, cuffed and have a talon zipper. Jacket would best fit a size 42, and pants measure 35×30

1930s studded, jeweled western belt

This vintage leather western belt was made in the 1930s. It is made of a natural colored leather with a geometric (squares over octagons) tooled pattern. It has a double prong garrison style buckle. As was popular with western belts of the period, it is embellished with jewels and studs. It is faintly marked “Genuine Full Grain Cowhide Bridle” on the back. This is a rare example of one of the earlier designs of this style.

Bailey B Bar B Cowboy Hat

This vintage cowboy hat was made in the mid to late 1950s by Bailey hats under their “B Bar B” western line. It is made of high quality 3X fur felt. Please remember that the X rating system has inflated grossly over the past half-century, and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. This is very nice felt. It is trimmed with a two cord band, and has a raw edge brim. The hat has a brown leather sweatband, stamped with the Bailey logo. It was sold in Bozeman, Montana by Wagner’s.

1930s Radium Silk spearpoint shirt

This vintage shirt was made in the 1930s and sold by Gronfein and Schwartz of Butte, Montana. It is made from Silk Radium, a fabric popular from about 1905-1935. It was a specially treated silk, developed to be extremely light weight, marketed as a summer shirt. It was an extremely expensive shirting material, selling for about four times what a comparable cotton shirt would. The shirt is cut long in the body, with gusseted side seams. It has small mother of pearl buttons, and a long 3-3/8″ spearpoint collar.

1920s Silk Shirt w/ chinstrap

This vintage shirt was made by AHL fine shirts. It is an extremely fine and expensive grade of silk. It has twin breast pockets, hidden collar buttons and a chinstrap, and a half placket with curved tails. The shirt came from the same estate as another silk shirt I’m listing, which was originally sold in Butte, Montana.
