1940s NOS burgundy swim briefs

This vintage bathing suit was made in the 1940s. It is made of burgundy wool with a drawstring waistband, considered sleeker and sportier at the time than the belted models. It still has the original size tag and care tags attached to the suit.

This vintage coat was made in the 1940s for the US Navy by the Naval Clothing Factory. It is made of blue kersey wool. This is the WWII issue 10 button version, with anchor buttons and corduroy lined handwarmer pockets. It was issued to a K.J. Teceira.

1942 Officer’s short overcoat mackinaw

This vintage mackinaw was made to 1942 specifications, and was probably made in 1943. The official term was, Overcoat, Wool, Doeskin O.D. Officers Short Style. This was a successor to the shawl collar overcoats issued from the 1920s-early 1940s. I have one of those in a separate listing. The coat is double breasted, with flapped cargo pockets and epaulettes. It is fully lined.

This vintage jacket was made in the early 1970s by the Pendleton Woolen Mills of Portland Oregon from avocado green and harvest gold plaid tweed wool. It is made in the 1930s half-belt revival style briefly popular in the late 1960s-early 1970s. The jacket is fully lined.

1950s Sears 5X beaver open road fedora hat

This vintage fedora was sold by Sears in the 1950s. It is a thin ribboned model, with a c-crown. It has a brown leather sweatband, marked with the Sears logo and “Formease”. It is tagged a 7-1/8, but measures out closer to a 7.
