This shirt is modern, but is a reproduction of flashy old styles. And unlike similar ’70s shirts which channeled similar ’40s shirts, this one isn’t made of nasty stiff polyester.
This 1930s Stetson is an interesting casual model, with a felt ribbon and triple stitched brim edge. The brown felt has a slightly fuzzy finish. It is “Standard Quality” felt, it is unlined, and it was sold by Hurds.
Why should ’60s Nashville stars have all the fun? Found this original suit on eBay. Sadly, the pants are much too short. Definitely not an all-the-time thing, but it puts a smile on my face to drag it out from time to time.
