WWII 10 button peacoat

This vintage peacoat was issued during WWII. It has the ten button front, with corduroy pockets, and is made of kersey wool. It is missing one of the front buttons (easily sourced), and one has been re-sewn at some point with red thread. It is marked with the original owner’s name, Campbell, and is missing the original tag.

This vintage fur coat is a men’s style, made by Langlois furriers in Victoriaville, Quebec. It is a 1970s version of the 1920s collegiate stadium coat style, with a large style, and two slash pockets. It has a quilted liner and a center vent. The coat has a fair bit of wear, but still has a lot of life in it.Chest: 20″ Shoulder to Shoulder: 19″ Sleeve (shoulder to cuff): 26″
1939 dated A. Nash overcoat
http://www.ebay.com/itm/281050527362
This vintage overcoat was custom tailored in 1939 by the A. Nash Company of Cincinnati, Ohio. It is a classic double breasted style, with a belted back. For some reason, someone has moved the buttons on the belt back to make it longer, but moving them back is a simple fix. It is half lined with a center vent. It has an early variant 1939 union tag which I have not seen outside of this coat.Chest: 24″Shoulder to shoulder: 19″Shoulder to Cuff: 26″

This vintage overcoat was made in the 1940s by Collegian Clothes for the Matzke Dite Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It bears a 1939 Union tag, which places its date of manufacture between 1939 and 1949. The coat is a brown wool alpaca blend. It has a double breasted front with wide lapels, has button tabs on the sleeves, and a plain vented back. For some inexplicable reason, someone has cut out the botton half of the lining.Chest: 23″Shoulder to Shoulder: 18″Sleeve: 25″
Duffle Coat

This vintage duffle coat is similar to the Royal Navy second pattern dufflecoat, and dates from the late WWII period, or early postwar period. It is made of heavy camel colored wool, with four toggles. The ropes are stout and the toggles are wood. Military-type buttons on the cuffs. Yoked shoulders. Hood lays flat when not in use, long chinstrap to keep the elements out. No button adjusters in the hood. Cotton reinforcement at waist, half lined.Chest: 26″Shoulder to Shoulder: 20″Sleeve: 24″
