This vintage jacket was made in the 1970s by Jo-o-Kay. It is made from heavy suede leather, with a snap front, pleated pockets, and a belted waist.

Penney’s Suede Jacket

This vintage leather jacket was made in the early-mid 1950s and was sold by Penney’s. It is made for suede leather in a casual style with a knit collar, handwarmer pockets, knit cuffs and knit waistband. It has a talon zipper with the wide ribbed stop box design.

Suede rancher jacket

This vintage jacket was made in the 1960s-early 1970s and was worn by a rancher in Livingston, Montana. It is made from heavy roughout leather, with a sherpa lining. The pockets have had matching leather sewn overtop.

1950s police jacket

This vintage leather motorcyle jacket was made in the early 1950s. It is made from heavy black leather, with central talon zipper front, epaulettes, belt loops, lace-up sides and zipped pockets. It has stitch holes where badges/patches were removed- this style was most commonly worn by police officers. It has a quilted lining.

Malamute Welding Jacket

This vintage leather jacket was made by the J. Churchill Glove Company of Centralia, Washington, manufacturer of quality leather clothing since 1898, under their Malamute line. The jacket has a band collar, no pocketsand Scovill snaps up the front.

1930s half-belt leather jacket

This vintage jacket was made in the late 1930s-early 1940s. Made from capeskin leather, it has a bell shaped Conmar zipper front, a buttoned throat latch, belt back, side adjusters and pleated back.

Windward horsehide jacket

This vintage jacket was made in the early-mid 1950s under the Windward label for Montgomery Ward. It is made of horse hide leather in a surcoat length half-belt cut. It has handwarmer pockets, a zipped breast pocket and flapped cargo pockets. The jacket has a quilted lining.

1930s-1940s capeskin aviator jacket

This vintage leather jacket was made in the late 1930s-early 1940s. It is made from capeskin leather in an aviator style, with an offset zipper, handwarmer pockets and large map pocket. It has a half-belt back with yoked shoulders and a center pleat. The lining appears to be a replacement.

Himel Bros. Chinook

This jacket was made by Himel Bros. Leather of Toronto, Canada. It is their Chinook model, with a double breasted closure, shawl collar, handwarmer pockets and flapped cargo pockets. It has bi-swing shoulders, a wool lining and deco vintage buttons. This was a pre-production prototype, with more detailed surround stitching on the handwarmer pockets than the production version, and no tag.

1940s Capeskin bomber jacket

This vinage jacket was made in the mid to late 1940s. It is made from capeskin leather, in a style which was then sold as a “bomber jacket”, with a zip front, breast pocket, handwarmer pockets and a knit waistband. It has leather cuffs and the zipper is a spring loaded Crown with two-way teeth. Half of the label is missing, so you can only make out Star. . . Sportswear.
