1949 denim battledress jacket

This vintage jacket was made in 1955 by Prices Tailors Ltd to the 1949 Battledress Pattern. It is a British Army size 13, for someone 5’11” to 6′ with a 39-40″ chest. By the measurements, it is pretty oversized.

This vintage jacket was made in the late 1920s-early 1930s by the Hettrick Manufacturing Company of Toledo, Ohio under their American Field Gun Coats label. It is made of canvas, with a corduroy collar and cuff linings. It has leather trimmed handwarmer pockets, large cargo pockets and flapped shell pockets. It has a roomy internal game pouch with side access and gusseted underarms.

English National Fire Service uniform jacket

This vintage jacket was made in 1952 for the British National Fire Service (NFS). It is sized as per English army uniforms, with a size no. 10 fitting between 5’7″ and 5’8″, with a chest of 38 inches, a waist or 34 inches. It was made by the Universal Clothing Co. At some point, probably in the 1970s, the body had a psychedelic lining partially applied over the original.

Pilgrim Columbia hat

This vintage hat was sold by Sears under the Pilgrim label and Columbia model name in the late 1930s. They marketed this model to working cowboys. It is made of wool felt, a budget conscious option, with a curled brim, center dent and front pinches and a textured leather sweatband.
