I think Men’s Hats Inc. may have been related to Hopkin’s of Baltimore. Maybe a later iteration of it?

Extra Quality Marathon
This hat was made in the 1930s and was sold by J.C. Penney’s under the Marathon house brand.
Stingy Stetson Milan
This vintage straw hat was made in the 1960s by the John B. Stetson Company. It has an extremely tapered crown.
Genuine Imported Braid Custom Made
“Custom Made”. Nice soft finely done milan on this. Cheap fabric covered sweatband. It dates from the 1960s.
Ventilated Genuine Panama
This panama dates from the 1950s. It isn’t a particularly fine weave, but it should breathe well.
Stetson Milan
This Stetson summer milan was sold by Zachry of Atlanta, GA.

This Stetson has nice lines, but showed up with a wrecked sweatband. Oh well- that’s not too expensive or a thing to replace.
Cheap Summer Straw
This one was relatively modern, and definitely cheap to begin with. The auction started appropriately low, and then a bidding war started, sending the end price skyrocketing. I like making money, but it always makes me nervous when people over pay.
Pedigree Boater
This boater has seen better days. The suspended bon ton ivy style sweatband is long since rotted away from the hat body. The hard straw is chipped.
Pith Helmet
Nothing says tropical adventure quite like a pith helmet. This early 1900s example has a beautifully patina-ed sweatband, and wine colored pleated liner. It was originally purchased from William H. Sands in Nassau N.P. Bahamas.
