Deadstock 1930s wool swimsuit

This vintage swimsuit was made in the 1930s. It is an unusual flesh-tone, with subtle confetti flecking to the material. It has belt loops for a belt, and a flapped, buttoned coin/key pocket. They are lined. They are in excellent condition.

Waist (unstretched): 11″ (doubled = 22″)
Waist (stretched): 16″ (doubled = 32″)
Side Seam: 9″
Rise: 12-3/4″

Deadstock 1950s swimsuit 04

These vintage swim trunks were made after WWII and bear a size/price tag with a “Ceiling Price”. They are made of a knit rayon. Despite being deadstock, they have holes from storage, see the pictures.

These vintage swim trunks were made in the postwar period, probably in the early 1950s. They are made of a knit blue rayon material, with a lined front and a drawstring waist.

Waist (unstretched): 12″ (doubled = 24″)

1940s French Emo brand swimsuit

These vintage swim trunks were made in France in the 1930s – 1940s. They are a bit lower waisted than American-made suits of the period, which is typical. They are gray wool, and have loops for a belt. The brand name is “Emo”, and they have a sailboat patch bearing that brand name on the left hip. They are unlined

1930s All Wool bathing suit

This vintage men’s bathing suit was made in the 1930s. It is navy blue wool with a waffle pattern weave. Double racing stripes down the sides, and a tunneled belt. Diamond shaped crotch gusset, d-ring buckle. The front is lined. I see one small moth bite on the back.

1930s Jantzen men’s swim suit

This vintage swim suit mas made in the 1930s through mid 1940s by Jantzen. It’s blue ribbed wool and lastex. It has a white belt with a hammered silvertone buckle. There are two small moth bites on the right hip by the waistband. There is a flapped key pocket, and the front is lined.

1930s Lastex corded men’s swimsuit

This vintage swimsuit was made in the 1930s. It is not marked as to a manufacturer, but does have the “Lastex” tag. There is typical wear, and a tear on the side seam at the top. They are lined in the front and have a buttoned key pocket.
