This vintage swimsuit was made in the late 1930s-mid 1940s. They have an incredible textural ribbed fabric, tunneled buttonhole beltloops, a tri-tone belt, buttoned key/coin pocket and built in supporter.

1950s Abercrombie and Fitch nylon swimsuit

This vintage men’s bathing suit was made in Austria in the mid 1950s. It is made of 100% Helanca Nylon, in an elastic waisted brief cut, with a zipper coin / key pocket. The pocket is closed with a German Zipp brand zipper. The suit was sold by Abercrombie and Fitch, back when they were still a high quality men’s shop and outdoor outfitter.The suit has a built in supporter panel made of the same nylon.

This vintage swimsuit was made in the 1930s. It is an unusual flesh-tone, with subtle confetti flecking to the material. It has belt loops for a belt, and a flapped, buttoned coin/key pocket. They are lined. They are in excellent condition.

1940s French Emo brand swimsuit

These vintage swim trunks were made in France in the 1930s – 1940s. They are a bit lower waisted than American-made suits of the period, which is typical. They are gray wool, and have loops for a belt. The brand name is “Emo”, and they have a sailboat patch bearing that brand name on the left hip. They are unlined
