This early 1930s woolrich hunting jacket was sold by Von Lengerke & Antoine, who were bought out by Abercrombie and Fitch. It has two early talon zippers on the game pockets.
You see these a fair bit in old photos and old movies, but hardly at all in the flesh. Not as many made as caps or fedoras, inexpensive, cheaply made, disposable and worn in harsh conditions.
Simply put- the best 1930s overcoat. Bold tweed, a super flattering cut, detailing and workmanship like no other. Check out those buttons, and the bellows pockets.
