1930s-1940s Cougar men’s double breasted overcoat

This vintage overcoat was made in the late 1930s- early 1940s by Cougar (rugged as the Rockies) for the Van Zant & Willman Golden Clothes Shop, 2222 Halstead St, Chicago, Illinois. The coat is double breasted, with broad lapels, It has handwarmer pockets and double button belted cuffs, and is fully lined. It bears a 1939 Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America union label.

Chest (pit to pit): 24″ (doubled = 48″)
Shoulder to shoulder: 19″
Sleeve (shoulder to cuff): 25″
Length (Base of collar to hem): 44″
