Simply the finest example of an early 1920’s fedora hat availible. blcoks well, supreme finish, ultra fine condition. best dating so far somewhere between 1924-1928/29. more research on Ben Simon requried. The finest of all the hats I own. Very early fedora and in now way a homburg. The crown is nearly 5 inches tall.
the finest example of an early fedora hat I’ve seen. beaver fur is great, jet black, no flaws, 5 inch crown height, virtually no wear anywhere. this is truly a fedora and not a homburg in any way. best dating thus far 1924-1928. more research needed on Ben Simon Clothing Stor in Charleston S.C.
